Volunteer Description:

Our staff and volunteers are our most important resource and our means of building client relationships to meet needs with practical solutions which spiritually transform individuals and our communities. We are seeking somebody with strong interpersonal and communication skills who can provide efficient administrative and operational support in a busy office setting.

The Front Desk Administrator will be the first point of contact for callers and visitors to AGAPE. The Front Desk Administrator will possess a positive and compassionate attitude. The individual will be friendly and welcoming, have strong communication skills, be well organized, and provide assistance to AGAPE staff as needed. The Front Desk Administrator will report to the Office Manager and Director of Operations.

Training and Supervision:

The Front Desk Administrator will receive hands-on training from the Office Manager and other Front Desk volunteer staff. Volunteers will have direct access to a staff supervisor for questions, issues or concerns while performing their job.

Days/Hours of Operation/Time Commitment:

A minimum 4-hour shift commitment is preferred. Our busiest days and highest needs are Thursdays; however, we have multiple positions available during all normal operating hours:

Monday, Tuesday and Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM and

Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are looking for the following types of commitment:

  1. Able to commit to a regular scheduled time each week, and/or
  2. Able to fill-in during vacation periods
